Why me

‘Content writing outsourcing’ which was once a profitable venture for most companies is fast turning into a nightmare for many. ‘Cheap Content Writing services’ have given the business a bad name. Inexperienced college students in desperate need for some beer money, are posing as content writers! It is but natural for one to be choosy about the services or the person one hires.

Apart from my expertise and my repertoire, it is my methodology that makes me an apt choice for all kinds of writing projects. So, what is this methodology?

  1. I listen – While this seems like a skill that most people possess, it is a quality that separates a good service provider from a great one. The very ability to listen to the suggestions, requirements and goals of each and every client of mine, enables me to understand and outline the scope of the project. One of the reasons why I always emphasize on a detailed email outlining the project details (Goals, target audience, timeframe)
  2. I quote – My quote for each project depends on a lot of factors (timeframe, project type, article niche, availability) and might be different from the previous one. I might have quoted you $15 for an article about 6 months back. I might just do your new project for $10 an article or I might even ask you for $20. There isn’t a ballpark figure that I stick to.
  3. I research – Quality research is the foundation of any article. A weak foundation usually leads to a shabbily written article that desperately searches for ‘filler’ words to meet the word count! Something that you will never find in any article written by me. I spend a large chunk of the time in researching for a project. In fact, 70% of the time is spent in assimilating precise information that eases the remainder of the job.
  4. I write – Writing comes naturally for me provided I have an astute understanding of your project requirements and the information needed to start churning words. I will usually write a couple of rough drafts first, go out with my pet, come back and then have a go at them again!
  5. Client Approval – And after taking a few shots at the rough draft, I will send it out to you for approval. The tone, the feel, the keyword density and any other changes that you need in the article need to be suggested here. Upon approval, I will complete the rest of the project according to the agreed upon timeframe.

Transparency is the key to the success of any writing assignment and I ensure that I maintain it at all stages of our working relationship.
