Q. Why create an FAQ for this website?
R. Because there are bound to be a lot of questions in your mind about my working. This FAQ is an attempt to clear off most of the doubts. You can always get in touch with me for anything that is unanswered over here.

Q. Why can’t I write the content for my website on my own?
R. Surely you can. If you are creating a personal website only for you, your friends and your family members to see, then you are the best person to write the content for it. But if you are on the internet from a business perspective, then I would recommend that you let a professional do the job. Content writing for the web has to be informational, precise, to-the-point with minimum beating around the bush and if you add SEO to the equation, then you simply cannot deny that it’s a professional’s job.

Q. How many articles can you write in a day?
R. It depends on the quality and the quantity of the total number of articles in the project. I usually write close to 80 articles per week but I have also completed a 110 at times.

Q. What do you charge per article?
R. I can easily set a ballpark figure like many other writers on the internet have. But I prefer to learn as much as I can about every individual project before I quote a price. Haven’t you heard that one size doesn’t fit all?

Q. Do you work on an hourly rate as well?
R. No, I don’t. I quote according to the number of articles in a project.  But I will be more than willing to work on an hourly rate if the right gig comes along.

Q. I want just one single page of content written. Will you take it up?
R. I usually do not take up anything lesser than 5 to 6 pages of content. Its just not feasible to invest the time and effort to write one page of copy. But if I have some free time, I might take it up. I have written several company profiles, brochures etc that were single page copies. The best way to know is to ask me. I would also like to mention that when I quote you for an article, it is for one page of content (300 to 325 words), unless we have discussed it prior to starting the work. I have had people request a quote for a single page of content and then wanting it extended to about 1000 words.  Not possible.

Q. Do you charge an advance? If so, why?
R. Ah! I hate this part. But with all due respect to you gentlemen out there, I have met my share of rotten apples in the lot. Yes, I have worked in good faith and lost out on a significant amount of money. One of the clients that I worked for without charging a cent simply did not consider it important or necessary to pay me for three 20000 word e-books that I had written. So, yes, I do charge an advance. But can you believe that I still work on good faith?

Q. I have a custom content requirement that is not listed on your website. Can you provide me with it?
R. Once again it depends on what that requirement is. As long as it involves churning my grey matter and reproducing it on paper, I will surely have a go at it. I love writing ad copy; captions for photographs, blogs etc. A few things that I have done but are not listed here are poetry writing, script writing, short stories and screenplays at a non professional level.

Q. Are you open to quality tests for the content?
R. Yes. I am open to all kinds of quality tests. In fact all of my work first passes a Copyscape test before being submitted to clients.

Q. What modes of payment do you accept?
R. I have worked for clients from all around the world but I myself am based in Mumbai, India. So I prefer payment via PayPal for international projects. If you prefer any other mode of payment, you can let me know about the same and we will see if we can work it out. Buyers in India can pay me via electronic funds transfer (Inter bank EFT) or by cash.

Q. Do you work alone or are you a team of writers?
R. I am a one man army. J. But I am also a part of a team of content writers. So if you have an infinitesimally huge project that I cannot take up single handedly, then I can always arrange for more people who can work.

Q. I have a very limited budget for the content requirements on my website. Can you give me a discounted package?
R. My yardstick for pricing is based on the qualitative and quantitative requirements of the client. I do not quote on the basis of the size of your company or your budget requirements.

R. Yes, I do. In fact, I would love to work on a long term basis with your company and offer periodical content management services.
