Greetings! My name is Sanjay Nair and I am a content writer, copywriter and blogger from India.

Like many other young people in this wide world, I too have been perplexed at the many choices that life unfolds before us. I have treaded on many different career paths before ending up with a pen and a paper pouring my heart out. I have worked in call centers, worked with event companies handling and organizing events and even worked as a web design instructor at a point in my life. But each day I have asked myself a million times, ‘Is this what I want to do?’ And I have found myself tongue tied without an answer. 

I discovered ‘writing’ way back in school. But I accidentally rediscovered it a few years back and hey, I realized that I still hadn’t lost the flair. Three and a half years and about 15000 articles later, I still can’t have enough of it. The fact that it earns me my daily bread is an additional motivator. 

I firmly believe that the profession that a person chooses should be the one that he/she is happy doing. I love writing and I love working from home. 

Writing articles began as a hobby and turned into a profession for me. Today, I try my best to do justice to each article that I write because; a lot depends on the output. 

I have two thumb rules when I write. 

• Rule Number one: I believe in integrity and honesty in my work.
• Rule Number Two:           I never copy articles from the web. (This is a direct influence of rule number one)

What makes me a good freelance content writer?  

The last three and a half years have given me lots and lots of experience in content writing for ‘the web’. The reason why I mentioned ‘the web’ in quotes over here is because writing for the web is very different from creative writing. The words have to be right and they have to be precise. You cannot beat around the bush. The time frame is limited. If you cannot grasp the attention of the reader in the first few lines, then he/she has a million other websites to choose from. 

The tone has to be conversational and the article, informative and search engine friendly. A complete package of all these things is what makes a good article, a great one. I won’t say that I am the best writer on the web. But I can assure you, that you won’t be disappointed with your choice.

Apart from writing, I love to spend time in the gym with weights, love to play the guitar (am still a beginner) and love to gorge on fiction and horror novels. Am a die hard SK (Stephen King) fan! I also indulge in a little bit of film making on the side. I regularly make short films and documentaries on social and environmental issues. 

Someday, I hope to join the elite league of fiction authors from India. Someday, I also hope to make a full fledged feature film. But that’s for later. For now, I am your friendly neighborhood content writer.
